Our Story
Raahi was born from a passion for preserving Pakistani textile traditions while embracing contemporary Canadian lifestyle. Founded by Hira, a Pakistani-Canadian designer who grew up surrounded by the rich fabric heritage of South Asia, our brand represents the beautiful fusion of two cultures.
After moving to Canada, Hira noticed the lack of accessible, high-quality Pakistani and South Asian clothing that could seamlessly blend into modern Canadian life. This gap inspired the creation of Raahi - a brand dedicated to making exquisite, culturally-rich garments available to the diaspora community and fashion enthusiasts across North America.
Today, we serve customers across Canada and beyond, creating custom pieces for weddings, celebrations, and everyday elegance. Each garment is a testament to our commitment to quality, authenticity, and the timeless art of tailoring.

Hira
Founder & Creative Director
Born and raised in Pakistan, Hira developed her love for textiles and design at an early age, surrounded by the vibrant colors and intricate patterns of South Asian fashion. After immigrating to Canada, she pursued formal training in fashion design and pattern making.
With over 8 years of experience in custom tailoring and bridal wear, Hira combines traditional techniques learned from master craftspeople with modern Canadian fashion sensibilities. Her work has been featured in community fashion shows and cultural celebrations across the GTA.

Our Journey
From a small home studio to serving customers across North America
The Beginning
Started as a passion project from home, creating custom pieces for friends and family. Word-of-mouth referrals began growing our community.
First Studio
Opened our first dedicated studio space in Toronto, allowing us to serve more customers and expand our custom services.
Community Growth
Participated in South Asian fashion weeks and cultural events. Built partnerships with local fabric suppliers and artisan embroiderers.
Going Digital
Launched our first e-commerce platform, making our designs accessible to customers across Canada with virtual consultations and measurements.
National Expansion
Extended shipping across all Canadian provinces and began serving customers in the United States. Introduced ready-to-wear collections alongside custom pieces.
